Job Summary
A Senior Frontend Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive, user-friendly web applications. They lead frontend architecture decisions, build scalable UI components, optimize application performance, mentor team members, and collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive web applications. Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components. Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, accessible, and responsive interfaces. Lead frontend architecture and technology decisions. Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility. Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following coding standards. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. Mentor junior developers and promote frontend best practices. Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and backend developers throughout the development lifecycle. Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements. Stay current with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience. 5–8+ years of professional frontend development experience. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. Extensive experience with React.js, Angular, or Vue.js (React preferred). Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Sass/SCSS, and responsive web design. Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, MobX, or Context API. Experience consuming REST APIs and/or GraphQL. Strong knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows. Familiarity with modern build tools such as Vite, Webpack, Rollup, or Parcel. Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright. Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques. Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and SEO best practices. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Next.js or other server-side rendering frameworks. Experience with micro-frontend architecture. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with design systems and component libraries. Experience mentoring developers or leading frontend projects.
